IV Hydration

IV Hydration Services

If You Travel Frequently For Work Or Spend Most Weekends Participating In Athletic Competitions, Consider IV Hydration. Iv Hydration Can Speed Up Your Body’s Natural Healing Process And Provide Access To The Vitamins, Minerals, And Nutrients You Need To Thrive. At Three Peaks Urgent Care, The Urgent Care Specialists Provide Iv Hydration Onsite.
IV hydration administers a saline solution with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants directly into your bloodstream. Using an intravenous (IV) drip allows the nutrients to bypass your digestive system, making it easier to receive nutrients more quickly and efficiently.

We use IV hydration to treat various types of medical issues, including:
• Hangovers
• Altitude sickness
• Jetlag
• Dehydration
• Fatigue
• The cold and flu
• Pregnancy symptoms
• Headaches and migraines
• Hormone imbalances
• Nutritional deficiencies
• Infection

We prepare IV hydration to each individual’s needs. After an exam, blood work, and urinalysis we can make treatment recommendations that help restore your body to balance. Your IV hydration may include one (or several) of the following nutrients:
• Saline (a mixture of water and sodium chloride)
• Dextrose (a type of sugar)
• Vitamin B (i.e., B-1, B-2, B-6, B-12, etc.)
• Vitamin C
• Calcium
• Magnesium
• Antioxidants
If you have an infection we may recommend IV hydration with antibiotics.

IV hydration typically takes 60-90 minutes*, however it may take longer depending on the type of nutrients you need. During the appointment, you can read, listen to music, watch TV, or take a nap and once you hydration is finished we remove the IV, bandage your arm, and send you home with any further treatment recommendations
IV hydration is safe and often very well-tolerated. You may experience redness or bruising at the IV insertion site, but these symptoms should resolve within a day or two. If they persist or worsen, you should contact Three Peaks Urgent Care immediately.
